Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Shift Lead to support the Practice Manager and COS in guiding the veterinary team to maximize productivity and patient care. You will help ensure effective communication with clients and colleagues while upholding Banfield protocols and delivering high-quality care.

The role emphasizes leading by example in client service, pet health education, and team engagement, with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of veterinary hospital experience.
• Available to work weekend and evening shifts.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must embrace and thrive on providing exceptional client and pet experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day supervision of the team when called upon and ensure quality medical care, exceptional client service, associate engagement and maximum productivity.
• Provide professional, efficient, and exceptional client service, including client education about pet care plans, preventive care, hospital services, and other information; resolve client issues.
• Assist in scheduling associates to meet client needs, while proactively planning time off and CE scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with all practice policies and procedures and adherence to dress and grooming guidelines.
