Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Shift Lead to support leadership, supervise staff, and ensure exceptional client and patient care. The role involves guiding day-to-day operations, coordinating team schedules, and promoting our preventive care programs while upholding Banfield standards.

You will work with the Practice Manager and COS to optimize productivity and foster a positive team culture, contributing to outstanding pet health and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of veterinary hospital experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support hospital leadership to develop an efficient, productive team delivering high-quality care and service.
• Supervise team day-to-day when needed and ensure quality medical care, client service, and associate engagement.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventive care, and hospital services; resolve client issues.
• Assist in scheduling associates to meet client needs and plan time off and CE scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with practice policies, dress and grooming guidelines, and Banfield standards.
