Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital in Florida is seeking a Paraprofessional to support the veterinary team and deliver exceptional client service. You will recruit clients, manage patient flow, educate on Optimum Wellness Plans, and assist with procedures under state practice acts.

Lead with the Five Principles and coordinate with the practice manager to ensure efficient operations and high-quality care for pets and clients, while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Paraprofessional in veterinary setting or related experience.
• Ability to assist with procedures and follow state practice acts.
• Strong client service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services.
• Manage flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and productivity.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans and preventive care.
• Assist incoming clients by completing required documentation and entering pet information in the computer.
• Assist with procedures and prepare for surgeries; monitor hospitalized pets as needed.
