• Ability to perform paraprofessional duties under veterinary supervision.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
• Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services.
• Manage routing the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and productivity.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through a productive hospital.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventive care and hospital services.
• Assist incoming clients with documentation and pet information in the system.
• Assist outgoing clients with instructions, invoices, prescriptions and scheduling.
• Maintain proper opening/closing procedures and balances.
• Support the veterinarian and veterinary technician to maximize productivity and flow of patients.
• Obtain information/history from clients and maintain medical charts.
• Ensure safety of pets, clients and staff; keep treatment areas clean and organized.
• Assist with surgery as applicable and other duties as assigned.
