Job summary

Walgreens in Minnesota seeks a team member to support store operations in the absence of management, handling system start-ups, cash handling, and ensuring floors and stock rooms are ready for business. You will assist with opening the back door for deliveries and manage everyday checkout tasks while delivering friendly, efficient customer service.

Responsibilities include returns, refunds, cash drops, and maintaining inventory accuracy, pricing, and displays.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Obtains and maintains PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including required systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change at registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Acts as liaison between management and team when management is not present and communicates tasks.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and pricing signage across departments.
