Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a dedicated team member to support store opening and closing when management is unavailable. You will handle systems start-ups, cash handling, and ensure floors and stockrooms are ready for the business day, including opening back doors for deliveries.

Additionally, you will engage customers, process returns and refunds, assist with inventory, pricing, displays, and basic bookkeeping while modeling Walgreens service excellence to deliver a distinctive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory retail experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Open and close store in the absence of management; ensure readiness of floor and stock room.
• Handle returns, refunds, cash drops, and cash register accuracy.
• Deliver a distinctive customer experience and assist customers.
• Assist with pharmacy out window as requested.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and price signage; ensure local pricing compliance.
• Assist with bookkeeping activities, cash reports, and store maintenance as needed.
