Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store associate capable of opening and closing the store in the absence of management, ensuring all systems start up and cash handling are completed accurately. You will engage customers, resolve questions, and model Walgreens service traits to deliver a distinctive experience.

You will also assist with vendor deliveries, inventory control, pricing, displays, and basic bookkeeping while maintaining store cleanliness and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder Roles.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of store management, handle start-ups and cash handling.
• Handle returns, refunds, cash drops, and provide change at registers.
• Deliver a distinctive customer experience and model best practices for the team.
• Hold store keys to open/close without management when needed.
• Assist with vendor orders and backdoor deliveries; review order releases and returns.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and pricing; ensure signage and local regulations compliance.
• Assist with bookkeeping, cash reports, and store maintenance tasks.
• Deteriorate separation of food items and rotate stock; work with backroom processes.
