Job summary

Lidl US is seeking a Shift Lead to oversee store operations beyond stocking and cashier duties. You’ll help with bakery operations, merchandising, and maintaining a clean, customer-friendly environment. You’ll manage shifts, unpack deliveries, assist customers, and ensure the entire store stays organized. Growth comes through hands-on learning and collaboration with management.

Qualifications

• Customer service mindset with a focus on store-wide operations.
• Ability to communicate clearly with team and management.
• Willingness to work early mornings and late evenings, including weekends.
• Comfort with lifting 50+ pounds as part of stocking duties.

Responsibilities

• Run assigned shifts as store lead in the absence of management.
• Unpack stock deliveries and maintain pace in the store.
• Provide excellent customer service across the store, not just at the registers.
• Keep the store clean and organized from parking lot to warehouse.
• Learn bakery, produce, and weekly promotional setup tasks.
• Communicate clearly with management and colleagues to complete tasks.
