Job summary

Lidl US is seeking a Shift Lead to oversee store operations during assigned shifts, including stocking, cleaning, bakery, and general merchandising. You will help customers, lead a team, and ensure the store runs smoothly whether managers are present or not.

You will be involved in all areas of the store, from the floor to the stockroom, and you will communicate effectively with management to adapt to changing priorities. This role emphasizes teamwork and high-quality, low-price shopping.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to lift, move, carry, or slide product over 50 pounds.
• Ability to reach above head to heights greater than 10 inches.
• Flexibility to start an early shift at 5am or finish a late shift at 11pm, including weekends.
• Positive attitude amid changing priorities.
• Friendly communication style with team and customers.
• Drive to work hard in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the store responsible person and run assigned shifts in the absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
• Unpack stock as deliveries arrive, maintaining a quick pace.
• Provide excellent customer service at registers and throughout the store.
• Keep the store clean and organized from parking lot to breakroom and warehouse.
• Learn and perform tasks in bakery, produce, and weekly promotional setup.
• Communicate clearly with management and colleagues to complete tasks.
