Job summary

Walgreens is seeking store Operations Associate in Rockwall, TX to help open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash and pricing duties, and ensure the floor and stock room are prepared for the business day.

You will engage customers, resolve issues, and model Walgreens service traits to deliver a distinctive, delightful experience while maintaining accurate inventory and supporting vendor deliveries and displays.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including system start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers, greets them, and assists with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Keeps store inventory accurate and assists with pricing and signage per policy.
• Manages basic department pricing and daily price changes; ensures signage reflects prices.
• Maintains clean, neat store conditions and oversees routine maintenance requests.
• Registers all sales, tracks scanning errors, price verifications, and voids; supports back-office tasks as needed.
• Assists with vendor deliveries, backroom organization, and reverse logistics; supports displays and resets.
• Assists with externals like pharmacy out window and regulatory compliance for regulated products.
