Job summary

Walgreens is seeking candidates to join our store operations team in Richmond, VA. The role involves opening and closing the store in the absence of management, handling cash and POS duties, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for business.

You will support inventory, pricing, and vendor deliveries while delivering a consistent customer experience. Required are at least one year of leadership or key holder experience and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, handle required system start-ups and cash handling, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
• Assist with and coach team members on store operations, including deliveries and backdoor openings for vendor deliveries.
• Register all related sales on assigned cash registers, track scanning errors, price verifications, and voids.
• Maintain inventory accuracy across departments and stockroom, and support price changes and signage compliance.
