Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Associate to join our team in Midlothian, VA. You will open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash and back-door deliveries, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for business hours.

You will deliver a distinctive customer experience while supporting store operations and merchandising. The role requires at least one year of leadership or supervisory experience, fluent English, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• One year of previous leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of management, handling system start-ups, cash and opening back door for deliveries.
• Processes product returns, order voids, refunds, cash drops, and provides change to registers.
• Delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients, greets them, assists with products and services, and resolves issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Manages store keys for opening/closing, assists with vendor deliveries, records sales and pricing corrections, and helps with displays and stockroom accuracy.
