Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an operations associate in the United States to open and close the store in the absence of store management, perform system start-ups, handle cash, and ensure the floor and stockroom are ready for the business day. This includes opening the back door for deliveries.

You will ring and track sales, process returns, refunds, and cash drops, and provide change to registers. You will greet customers, resolve issues, coach teammates, manage pricing, inventory, and backroom

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Open/close the store in the absence of management.
• Handle required systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Ensure floor and stockroom are ready for the business day.
• Open back door for deliveries and manage vendor access.
• Register sales and manage pricing tasks and signage.
• Assist with inventory accuracy and basic store maintenance.
