Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Store Associate responsible for opening and closing the store in the absence of management, handling cash, and ensuring readiness of floors and stock rooms for the business day.

You will engage customers, assist with products and services, and model Walgreens’ distinctive service traits. You will also support inventory control, pricing maintenance, and basic store maintenance, while coaching team members to deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of store management and handle required system start-ups and cash handling.
• Complete product returns, refunds, and cash drops; provide change to registers.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Assist with vendor deliveries, backdoor access, and inventory accuracy.
• Register sales, track price verifications, and manage ordering exceptions as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness, pricing signage, and basic department displays.
