Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Greater Chattanooga Area is seeking a Shift Lead to supervise store personnel, coach associates, and ensure excellent customer service. You will greet donors and customers, resolve issues, and maintain store standards while adhering to safety policies.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, retail experience, and at least 6 months of supervisory experience. English communication is essential; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• Prior retail experience or customer service experience preferred.
• 6 months supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English; strong interpersonal skills; bilingual a plus.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Reliable transportation and communication.
• Schedules include days, evenings, holidays, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store personnel on assigned shift to meet standards.
• Develop, train, coach, and support store associates for career growth.
• Greet and assist donors and customers with excellent service.
• Resolve complaints and relay issues to management.
• Maintain store appearance and housekeeping to agency standards.
• Attend meetings and training as required and ensure safety policies are followed.
