Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations in Wheelersburg, OH. The role includes taking on shift management in the manager's absence and ensuring smooth daily store functioning.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, RSS certification, and auto parts knowledge; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Required: Strong communication skills.
• Required: Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Desired: Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Desired: Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• Desired: ASE Certification.
• Desired: Fluency in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure program execution.
• Answer telephone according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges; issue refunds correctly.
• Invoicing of merchandise before product leaves the store.
• Manage Zipline communications and merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to posted schedules and proper clock-in/out.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures.
