Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Retail Service Specialist to assist the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role also includes shift management in their absence.

• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom including program execution.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders promptly; contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges; issue refunds using correct payment methods.
• Invoice merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages; delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted schedules; clocking in/out per policy; perform day end procedures and secure deposits.
• Perform all store opening/closing duties and verify security systems.
