Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a front-line team member in Illinois to open and close the store, handle cash duties, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the business day. You will also process returns, refunds, and assist customers with purchases while delivering Walgreens’ signature service.

Key responsibilities include maintaining store systems, managing inventory, and supporting management during shifts to provide a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change at registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
