Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a dedicated store associate to operate in the absence of store management, including opening and closing duties, cash handling, and ensuring readiness of sales floor and stockroom.

Responsibilities include resolving customer inquiries, processing refunds and returns, and delivering an outstanding shopping experience while supporting inventory, pricing, and displays. Prior leadership or key holder experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of management, handling required system start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, refunds, cash drops, and provides change.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients, greets and assists with products and services, resolves issues.
• Supports inventory accuracy and pricing tasks, including displays and promotions.
• Assists with vendor deliveries, shelf maintenance, and backroom organization.
