Job summary

Walgreens in Moreno Valley, CA is seeking a capable team member to help run store operations when management is not present. You will open/close the store, handle cash, process returns, and ensure floors and back stock are ready for the business day.

You will deliver a friendly customer experience, assist with inventory, pricing, displays, and basic bookkeeping, while maintaining store cleanliness and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including system start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change to registers.
• Delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience and supports service traits.
• Engages customers, resolves issues, and offers assistance with products and services.
• Maintains inventory accuracy, reviews pricing, displays, and signage, and assists with relocations.
• Assists with vendor deliveries, backdoor access, and store cleanliness and repairs as needed.
