Job summary

CareLink Community Support Services is seeking an on-site Residential Shift Supervisor to oversee Residential Counselors during the absence of the Program Supervisor. You will ensure safe, well-coordinated evening and overnight operations and provide non-clinical leadership to staff and residents.

The role involves supervising shifts, coordinating coverage, guiding new staff, and supporting the development of care plans and daily activities.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Field of study: Human Services or related field.
• 2-3 years experience in Human Services or equivalent life experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• CPRP/RPRP Certification and Certified Peer Specialist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-clinical leadership during shift and model professional conduct.
• Ensure shift coverage and communicate with the on-coming supervisor.
• Plan shift operations and report issues to supervisor/coordinator.
• Assist in orienting new staff to agency policies and philosophy.
• Participate in performance reviews and staff development.
• Coordinate orientation of new consumers and introductions to staff and consumers.
• Assist in planning daily, evening and weekend activities for consumers.
• Monitor medications and document appropriately; report errors.
