Job summary

HCRS (Health Care & Rehabilitation Services of Southeastern Vermont) is seeking a shift supervisor for a residential program. You will lead a team of Residential Specialists, ensure safety and quality of care, and coordinate with care teams to implement residents' care plans.

The role requires leadership experience, the ability to manage risk, and strong communication skills to document and report on shift activities. Prior mental-health related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in the provision of services to adults in treatment related to a mental health experience.
• Previous leadership, teaching or training experience.
• Reliable transportation. Valid driver's license May be required to transport residents.
• Required, may obtain after hire: CPR, CPI

Responsibilities

• Directly hires and supervises a team of Residential Specialists.
• Assesses risk routinely throughout shift and manages environment of care.
• Serves as the leader and point person for the shift on which they work.
• Reviews and maintains shift documentation in resident's charts.
• Monitors compliance with policy, procedures and licensing regulations.
• Supports scheduling and arranges transportation to resident appointments.
• Collaborates with care and treatment teams to create a therapeutic environment.
• Communicates observations promptly to the care team.
