Job summary

WestRock Coffee in Conway, Arkansas seeks a Production Shift Lead to coordinate daily production activities and lead the Single Serve team on the shift. You will collect data, monitor machines, and report downtime and adjustments to maintenance, while ensuring smooth operation and material flow.

The role requires strong communication, detail orientation, and the ability to train and mentor teammates to achieve peak performance and minimal waste.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is required and must be consistently accurate.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Ability to give work instructions to all single serve teammates.
• Willingness to train and expand knowledge of machine operations.
• Goal: improve production equipment performance, efficiency, and reduce waste.
• Ability to train and provide constructive feedback to staff.
• Collect data for daily shift reporting to upper management.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Microsoft Office experience or familiarity with data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily team meetings with Operators and Single Serve Team Members.
• Collect data for Single Serve shift reporting at shift start and end.
• Ensure machines run at peak performance and report issues to Supervisor and Maintenance Technicians.
• Document downtime and machinery adjustments and share with Maintenance Technicians.
• Support continuing education on all equipment when opportunities arise.
• Assist with breaks and lunches to keep machines running through the full shift.
• Coordinate with Material Handlers to ensure raw materials are available and properly managed.
• When Supervisors are away, lead the shift to keep operations on track.
