Job summary

WestRock Coffee seeks a Shift Leader for the Single Serve production line to coordinate daily operations, lead the team, and ensure peak machine performance.

You will collect shift data, report downtime, train teammates, and maintain clear communication with maintenance and material handlers to keep production on schedule.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is essential for accurate shift reporting and downtime logging.
• Strong communication and leadership to train and guide single-serve teammates.
• Ability to train and provide constructive feedback to enhance machinery knowledge.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and data reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily team meetings with Operators and Single Serve Team Members.
• Collect data for Single Serve shift reporting at start and end of each shift.
• Ensure machines run at peak performance and report issues to Supervisor and Maintenance Technicians.
• Record downtime and machine adjustments and share with Maintenance Technicians.
• Pursue continuing education on equipment when opportunities arise.
• Assist with breaks and lunches to maintain production pace.
• Coordinate with Material Handlers to ensure materials are available and unused materials are removed.
• If Supervisor is away, lead the shift to keep operations running smoothly.
