Job summary

Long John Silver's - Performance Foods Corp. is seeking a dependable Team Leader to run shifts, guide team members, and support restaurant management.

You will work closely with the management team to deliver great guest service, ensure food quality, and foster team development. The role focuses on daily operations, maintaining standards, and learning management skills such as forecasting sales, creating schedules, and inventory tracking.

Qualifications

• Restaurant or food service experience required.
• Previous leadership experience (trainer, key holder, shift lead) preferred.
• Willingness to learn and grow into higher management roles.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow company standards and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Run shifts and lead team members during assigned shifts.
• Ensure all team members complete assigned shift tasks and follow uniform standards.
• Address guest questions or concerns in a timely, friendly manner to ensure positive guest engagement.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for guests and team members.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in good working condition.
• Follow proper food storage, handling, preparation, and presentation procedures with attention to food safety.
• Ensure cash handling, security, safety, and food quality standards are met.
• Learn key management skills such as forecasting sales, creating schedules, ordering and tracking inventory, and completing weekly and period reports.
• Support restaurant goals for sales growth and operational excellence.
• Maintain a positive work environment with a culture of respect and teamwork.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager
