Job summary

Long John Silver's, operated by Performance Foods Corp., is seeking a dependable Team Leader to run shifts, guide team members, and support restaurant management. You will help ensure guest satisfaction, food quality, and daily operations while developing management skills and advancing within the company.

Ideal candidates have prior restaurant or food service experience and a desire to grow into higher management roles.

Qualifications

• Restaurant or food service experience required.
• Previous leadership experience preferred (trainer, key holder, shift lead).
• Willingness to learn and grow into higher management roles.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow company standards and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Run shifts and lead team members during assigned shifts.
• Ensure all team members complete assigned shift tasks and follow company uniform standards.
• Take responsibility for guest engagement by addressing questions or concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for guests and team members.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in good working condition.
• Follow proper food storage, handling, preparation, and presentation procedures with strong attention to food safety.
• Ensure cash handling, security, safety, and food quality standards are met.
• Learn key management skills such as forecasting sales, creating schedules, ordering and tracking inventory, and completing weekly and business period reports.
• Support restaurant goals for sales growth and operational excellence.
• Maintain a positive work environment with a culture of respect and teamwork.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager.

As a Team Leader, you will share responsibility with the management team for daily restaurant operations, with a focus on great guest service, food quality, team development, and operational standards.
