Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Metairie, LA is seeking a capable team member to perform, lead, and supervise basic operational duties to provide quality products and service to guests.

This role involves coordinating station duties (fountain & frozen, grill, drive-thru as applicable), assisting with new employee training, enforcing sanitation standards, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Expect irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, with a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Perform, lead, and supervise station duties to meet operational standards.
• Assist with new employee orientation and training.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Perform, lead, and supervise cleaning and sanitation duties — including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food prep tools, wiping counters, sanitizing prep areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease.
• Lead shift meetings.
• Report customer or employee complaints/issues to MOD.
• Move and stock food product weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required.
