Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Ville Platte, LA is hiring for a shift leader to supervise station duties across fountain, grill, drive-thru and prep areas. You will assist with new-employee orientation, ensure adherence to policies, and lead sanitation and cleaning tasks.

Regular attendance and multi-tasking are essential for this role. The role requires helping manage shifts, addressing customer or employee concerns with the MOD, and performing additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge/Skills: General restaurant or retail knowledge.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Multi-tasking, decision-making, leadership, time-management, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform, lead, and supervise station duties to meet operational standards.
• Assist with new employee orientation and training.
• Comply with company policies and standards.
• Perform, lead, and supervise cleaning and sanitation duties – including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and tools, wiping counters, sanitizing areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease.
• Regular attendance.
• Lead shift meetings.
• Report customer or employee complaints/issues to MOD.
• Move and stock food product weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
