Job summary

Wingstop is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily restaurant operations. You will report to the General Manager and lead a team to uphold high standards in food quality, speed, accuracy, and cleanliness.

You will supervise shifts, ensure adherence to SOPs, manage labor and costs, and actively participate in staff training and recruitment processes. This role requires a proactive leader who can motivate a team and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent recommended.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in food service recommended.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills required.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, delegate work, and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead Shift Operations: act as a hands-on manager, complete daily checklists, handle cash, and manage guest interactions.
• Drive Performance: ensure SOPs are followed and maintain urgency to increase speed of service; monitor daily labor, sales, and food costs.
• Support Team Development: train and coach team members, provide feedback, and assist with applicant screening during recruiting.
