Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Associate who will open and close the store in the absence of management, ensure all systems start-ups, handle cash, and prepare the floor and stock room for the day. The role includes assisting with deliveries via the back door and processing returns, refunds, and price changes.

The candidate will engage customers, resolve issues, and uphold Walgreens’ service standards to deliver a distinctive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including cash handling and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change at registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Represents Walgreens service traits and best practices to deliver excellent customer service.
