Job summary

Excel Fitness, a Planet Fitness franchise group based out of Austin, TX, is seeking a Shift Leader to help manage daily operations at our Raleigh club. You will work closely with the General Manager to supervise staff, ensure a world-class member experience, and support recruitment and training.

Qualifications

• Superior customer service skills with a focus on member satisfaction.
• Previous Planet Fitness Member Service Representative experience.
• Strong supervisory, diplomatic and listening abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• Energetic, hard-working and proactive.
• Excellent problem-resolution skills.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring and developing a team of high performers.
• Assist GM with staff oversight and scheduling.
• Ensure world-class member experience by supervising staff.
• Manage front desk operations and member check-ins.
• Assist in supply ordering and budget adherence.
• Track weekly, monthly and annual statistics.
• Provide backup support when employees are absent.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the facility.
