Job summary

Jersey Mike's of DeLand, FL is seeking a part-time Shift Leader to supervise daily operations in the absence of the General Manager and Assistant General Manager. You will oversee a 2-5 person team during shifts and serve as a key holder for opening and closing tasks.

The role requires strong menu knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. At least 1 year of restaurant experience and being 18+ are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of restaurant experience, preferably as a shift lead.
• Ability to work 2 morning openings and 2 night closings.
• Proven ability to efficiently multitask and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong menu and product knowledge.
• Lead and manage a team of 2-5 crew members during shifts.
• Act as a key holder and perform opening and closing tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing effective communication with guests and team members.
• Participate in training programs and continuously develop skills.
• Maintain reliability and adherence to scheduling requirements.
