Job summary

Dutch Bros Coffee in Ohio is seeking a Shift Lead to uphold our vision, culture, and core values on every shift. You will be a servant leader, communicating with leadership on feedback, and handling the hard work so the crew can focus on core values during shifts.

Lead the experience for every Broista on shift, ensuring a mind-blowing customer experience. Train new Broistas and assist in inventory, cleanliness, and adherence to all policies.

Qualifications

• 6 months of Broista experience at Dutch Bros preferred.
• No disciplinary action for the past 90 days, required.
• Disciplinary action is defined as a coaching conversation resulting in formal documentation with signatures.
• Prerequisite to employment is to obtain and maintain a Food Handler Permit/Certification as required by state/local regulations.
• Ability to complete, pass and maintain mandatory certificates, training, and knowledge tests under company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the experience for every Broista on shift to ensure a mind-blowing experience for every customer.
• Manage the shift and ensure Broistas are prepared for specials or promotions and have the right energy for customers.
• Be an expert on drink and operational fundamentals to train Broistas.
• Train new Broistas operationally and culturally while providing a fun-loving environment.
• Set Broistas up for success by covering all aspects of the brand manifesto during training.
• Assist Shop Manager and Shop Lead in inventory management, restocking, and cleanliness standards.
• Communicate wins and opportunities for improvement with shop leaders.
• Attend mandatory meetings and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Assist Shop Lead/Shop Manager in ensuring shop setup and cleanliness standards are met.
