Job summary

Taco Bell in Hoboken, NJ is seeking a proactive Shift Lead to energize our team and uphold the brand’s high standards. You will lead shifts, coach crew, and resolve guest concerns to ensure every guest leaves satisfied.

In this fast-paced role you will drive daily operations, coach team members, monitor food safety and quality, and collaborate with the GM on store initiatives to help grow the business.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant/retail experience; 3 months shift lead preferred
• Excellent communication, management/leadership and organizational skills
• Basic Math skills
• Access to dependable transportation
• Attendance and punctuality required
• Ability to move up to 45 lbs as needed
• Operates cash register and makes change

Responsibilities

• Execute the MIC (Manager in Charge) Success Routine to prioritize customer needs
• Oversee completion of Shift Excellence tasks and maintain clean appearance
• Ensure food safety, quality, and accuracy of orders
• Resolve customer complaints quickly and maintain positive relations
• Provide regular feedback to the GM on team performance
• Offer ongoing constructive feedback to Team Members
• Participate in training Team Members
• Assist GM with screening Team Member candidates
• Assist with labor and cash control and inventory management
• Oversee product preparation, rotation, and holding times
• Support facility maintenance and health and safety standards
• Handle other duties as assigned
