Job summary

Taco Bell in West New York, NJ is seeking a Shift Lead to energize the team, manage shifts, and uphold Taco Bell's standards. You will coach Team Members, handle guest concerns, and collaborate with the GM on daily restaurant initiatives.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in restaurant or retail and some shift-lead experience, are 18+, reliable transport, and strong communication, with a focus on food safety and timely service.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant/retail experience, with 3 months shift lead experience preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Accessibility to dependable and reliable transportation
• Excellent communication and management/leadership skills
• Physical dexterity to move up to 45 lbs
• Attendance and punctuality required
• Operates cash register as needed and makes change for other cashiers
• Basic math skills and adherence to health and safety standards

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts to meet Taco Bell standards and resolve customer concerns
• Oversee Team Members' Shift Excellence tasks and maintain clean appearances
• Ensure food safety, quality, and accuracy of orders
• Provide regular feedback to the GM on Team Member performance
• Coach and train Team Members and assist with hiring
• Assist the GM with labor management and cash controls
• Oversee product preparation, rotation, and holding times
• Maintain health and safety standards and facility upkeep
• Support management in executing store initiatives and policy adherence
