Job summary

Five Guys is hiring a Shift Leader at our Georgia location. You’ll lead shifts, supervise crew, and ensure fast, friendly service while upholding brand standards. The role involves stepping in during busy periods, covering cashier, grill, prep, fries and dining room, and coaching teammates to deliver an exceptional guest experience every time.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred)
• A team-first mindset with strong communications skills
• Someone who leads by doing—not just directing
• Ability to stay cool and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and comfort using POS systems

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and step in to run operations when management isn’t on site
• Jump into every position—cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room—no task is too small
• Deliver fast, accurate service and create a great guest experience every time
• Coach, support, and motivate crew members to perform at their best
• Help train new team members and build a strong, positive culture
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports
