Job summary

Salt & Straw is hiring Shift Coordinators in Seattle to support daily shop operations and coach team members during shifts. You will help manage tasks, serve guests with care, and ensure a smooth, friendly guest experience in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role emphasizes coaching teammates, maintaining product quality, and supporting store operations with flexibility across shifts. This is an on-site position with a strong focus on teamwork and guest delight.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ months in food service, restaurant, retail, or hospitality.
• 18+ years old and eligible to work in the United States.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shop operations to ensure a welcoming guest experience.
• Guide Scoopers, assign tasks, manage breaks, and provide real-time feedback.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns thoughtfully.
• Assist with inventory counts, cash handling, and daily documentation.
• Open and close the shop and maintain shop standards, cleanliness, and safety.
