Job summary

Salt & Straw is hiring Shift Coordinators to help run a fast-paced, in-store operation and deliver memorable guest experiences. You will coach teammates, manage shift tasks, and ensure smooth service from entry to close in a retail food setting.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ months in food service or retail, strong communication, and a passion for hospitality. Opportunities include flexible scheduling and a team-first culture focused on quality and care for guests.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• At least 6 months of food service, restaurant, retail, coffee, or hospitality experience
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Willing to coach and support teammates

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shop operations to ensure a smooth, welcoming guest experience
• Coach and support team members with real-time feedback and training
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns
• Assist with inventory counts, cash handling, and daily documentation
• Open/close shifts and manage tasks
