Job summary

Church's Chicken in Alabama is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise team members, ensure fast, friendly, accurate service, and maintain a clean and safe dining environment. You will guide guests, assign tasks, and model brand standards across shifts.

This role requires at least a high school diploma or GED, US work authorization, and a valid driver's license. You will open/close the store, complete shift reports, and help manage inventory and cash handling as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle during shifts.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must have access to a telephone 24 hours a day.
• Must be available to work the assigned schedule and to open/close the restaurant.
• May be required to work temporarily at other restaurant locations.

Responsibilities

• Creates an in-store service environment that is friendly, quick and accurate, exceeding guest expectations.
• Delivers brand standards, cleanliness and safety in all areas of the restaurant.
• Communicates openly with the manager and team members, assigning duties and giving feedback.
• Demonstrates teamwork and supports colleagues across shifts.
• Performs opening and closing duties and completes required shift reports and cash handling tasks.
