Job summary

The Shift Leader at Krystal in Nashville supports the store management team’s daily operations in line with Krystal’s Vision, Mission and Promise. The role assists in selecting, training and coaching A+ talent to achieve results in People, Customer, Sales and Profit, while modeling Krystal’s Core Values and maintaining food safety standards.

This entry-mid level role requires 21+ years old, ServSafe certification, and flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Servsafe certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred with one or more years restaurant experience.
• Systems & Software – proficient level knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, overnights, & weekends.
• May be required to travel to other locations, e.g. other stores, bank, meetings as business dictates

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Krystal Core Values while training and recognizing A+ talent using Krystal’s tools.
• Partner with the management team to execute performance management and ensure success.
• Drive a customer-focused culture by resolving issues and coaching staff to meet service standards.
• Ensure food safety, inventory, labor and cash controls are maintained during shifts.
• Support store marketing initiatives and alignment with the restaurant plan.
