Job summary

Prismhr Hire is seeking a Property Operations Supervisor for an off-track betting (OTB) location in the United States. You will assist the Property Operations Manager, oversee shifts, interact with guests and staff, and help ensure operations meet company standards and regulatory requirements.

The role requires strong supervisory experience, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage deposits, safety, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or leadership experience with direct reports.
• Experience providing high level of customer service.
• Able to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal).
• Experience handling money and deposits with accuracy.
• Familiarity with pari-mutuel equipment and related rules.

Responsibilities

• Assist Property Operations Manager with interviewing, hiring decisions, onboarding, training, developing, overseeing staff, measuring performance, disciplining, and/or scheduling department staff.
• Walk the gaming area to engage with customers and employees with a positive demeanor.
• Explain terminals, Club benefits, and site amenities clearly to guests.
• Address customer and employee concerns calmly and fairly and identify location inefficiencies.
• Oversee counts, master safe sheets, and deposits when the Property Operations Manager is unavailable.
• Propose improvements to service, costs, and revenue opportunities.
• Use Microsoft apps and the player tracking system proficiently.
• Monitor regulatory and safety compliance risks and address them appropriately.
• Maintain confidentiality of company and personnel documents.
• Ensure efficient operation of gaming terminals and related equipment; schedule staff per business needs.
• Support staff development and growth for future promotional opportunities.
• Troubleshoot minor wagering terminal issues as needed.
• Comply with all gaming laws and internal controls, Title 31, and federal regulations.
