Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation seeks a skilled supervisor to oversee the Race & Sports Book operations in a casino setting. The role ensures smooth daily activities, accurate regulatory logging, and adherence to company policies across all transactions.

You will lead a team, manage schedules, maintain equipment, and handle guest feedback while ensuring compliance with state gaming regulations and internal standards.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate Stadium computer software system.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Race & Sports Book to run smoothly and effectively.
• Verify compliance with Title 31 and Reg. 22; log transactions that fall under state reporting thresholds.
• Ensure employees perform services and transactions in accordance with Company policies and gaming regulations.
• Fully understand and operate betting terminals and the Race & Sports betting system.
• Set schedules and maintain TV channels for Race & Sports Book; control TVs throughout the casino.
• Supervise Race & Sports personnel; administer discipline up to discharge; coach team members.
• Maintain written records of shift transactions, gaming regulations, personnel actions, etc.
• Report safety and maintenance issues in a timely manner before end of shift.
• Handle guest comments and complaints per Company policies.
• Ensure Race & Sports Book is properly equipped by monitoring supply stock and ordering supplies.
• Approve winning payoffs over specified limits.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
