Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Shift Lead for its DashMart local fulfillment center in Newark, NJ. You will own shifts, manage inventory, ensure safety and training, and help maintain high quality in both warehouse and light-prep kitchen tasks.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated team players with 18+ years of age, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Google Docs/Sheets proficiency and flexibility in scheduling are a plus.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated, positive, team player.
• Proven track record in food/beverage, warehouse, or retail.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate pallet jack/hand truck.
• Food handling certificate (training provided).
• 18+ years of age; high school diploma or GED; scheduling flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned shifts, manage warehouse and kitchen processes, safety, and training.
• Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and pickups run smoothly.
• Lead Operations Associates and escalate daily operational issues.
• Support warehouse and kitchen tasks and maintain a positive, safe atmosphere.
• Suggest improvements to quality and customer experience.
