Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking an associate to open and close the store in the absence of store management, handling cash and ensuring readiness of floor and stock rooms for the day. You will assist with returns, refunds, and cash drops while delivering a friendly customer experience.

Responsibilities include supervising team members, managing stock, pricing, and signage, and ensuring compliance with laws on regulated products. A valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent reading/writing/speaking English.
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
• PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
• Arrest/conviction records may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Open/close store in management's absence and handle cash procedures.
• Process returns, refunds, cash drops, and provide change.
• Deliver a distinctive customer experience and assist customers.
• Assist with inventory counts, pricing signage, and stock rotation.
• Support pharmacy window operations and general store maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with laws on regulated products and conduct bag checks.
• Communicate tasks and reports between management and team.
