Job summary

CrossAmerica Partners is seeking a Store Shift Lead to oversee daily operations of a convenience store on assigned shifts. Responsibilities include leading staff, managing cash, maintaining inventory, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail setting.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of retail supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask while ensuring a clean, safe, and inviting store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, management, or retail is a plus.
• 1–2 years of retail or convenience store experience with some supervisory/leadership exposure.
• Experience in cash handling, inventory management, and customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise store associates during shifts, ensuring policy compliance and excellent service.
• Train and mentor new employees on operations, customer service, and safety.
• Oversee opening/closing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy.
• Maintain inventory, rotate stock, and manage displays to promote promotions.
• Monitor loss prevention, waste reduction, and safety compliance.
• Complete shift reports and assist in achieving sales targets.
