Bareburger seeks a confident Shift Lead to oversee daily restaurant operations, guest service, and staff development at our Avon-Simsbury location. You’ll manage opening and closing procedures, uphold food safety, and drive profitability through a high-energy leadership style.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of supervisory experience in fast-paced hospitality, excellent guest service skills, and a passion for training future leaders while maintaining brand standards and a positive guest

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant supervisory experience.
• Exceptional guest service skills.
• Be polite, energetic, respectful and hospitable.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop future leaders.
• Previous restaurant/retail management experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound decision making abilities.
• Knowledge of POS systems, Microsoft Office, and 3rd party delivery platforms.
• Quality focus and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest level of guest service.
• Establish daily cash accountability for registers and close outs.
• Adhere to Bareburger operating standards.
• Monitor staffing levels and address scheduling conflicts.
• Maintain clean and stocked workplace and restrooms.
• Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Enforce company policy on discounts, returns and exchanges.
• Train new employees on company policies and procedures.
