Job summary

Saladbar in Rocky Hill, CT is seeking a dynamic Shift Lead to help manage daily operations and inspire the team on the floor. You will balance leadership duties with hands-on tasks, oversee food prep, cleaning, inventory, and cash handling while ensuring a positive dining experience for guests.

Requirements include a current ServSafe Manager certification, prior leadership in a food-service setting, strong communication, and the ability to work both days and evenings, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid ServSafe Manager certification.
• Previous experience in a team lead, supervisor, or management role (food service experience is a plus!).
• An outgoing, engaging personality with strong communication and active listening skills.
• Proven ability to resolve conflicts quickly and efficiently.
• Must be consistently available to work both days and evenings, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, delegate, and supervise staff tasks to ensure timely execution.
• Actively participate in all daily activities, including food prep, cleaning, stocking inventory, and ensuring a smooth flow during service.
• Provide exceptional service, interact with customers, and quickly resolve issues for a positive dining experience.
