Job summary

Peet’s Coffee is seeking a Shift Lead to manage daily operations, lead shifts, and deliver exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced environment. You will model genuine engagement, uphold high product quality, and maintain a welcoming coffeebar while supporting colleagues and ensuring operational excellence.

The role requires prior leadership experience, POS/cash handling, and availability of at least three days per week.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience working in a leadership role and/or directing the work of others.
• 1 year experience with POS/cash handling responsibilities in related industry.
• Shift Leads must maintain a schedule availability of at least three days a week to meet business needs.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the country where this job is located.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with focus and clarity by managing task deployment and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences by modeling engagement, craft, and friendly service while maintaining a clean coffeebar.
• Support a positive team environment by clear communication, collaboration, accountability and reliability.
• Ensure operational excellence by executing opening/closing routines, cash handling, inventory tasks and visual updates.
• Embrace learning and change by developing skills and adapting to priorities to keep shifts running smoothly.
