Job summary

ASML US, LP in Wilton, CT seeks a Team Lead First Line Support Production Engineer to lead the shift, guide troubleshooting, and coordinate activities within Production Engineering. You will oversee resources, ensure safety, and drive timely resolution of production issues.

The ideal candidate has 5-7 years in high-tech production, a Bachelor’s in engineering or science, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or science with 2+ years of production or Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• 5-7 years in high-tech production/manufacturing; people management or complex project management preferred.
• Experience leading daily work coordination and shift execution in a dynamic production environment.
• Strong problem-solving, root-cause analysis, containment development, and follow-through.
• Experience coaching, training, mentoring engineers, technicians, or production staff.
• Ability to communicate production risks, disturbances, quality issues, and recovery plans clearly to cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee First Line Support during the assigned shift to align resources with production priorities.
• Provide technical support by guiding troubleshooting and driving timely issue resolution.
• Coordinate shift tasks to meet safety, quality, and production standards.
• Serve as the primary escalation point between team, Production Engineering, Manufacturing, and leadership.
• Present daily shift reports and production status, addressing barriers and improvements.
• Support root-cause analysis, cycle-time improvement, and on-floor documentation.
• Train and mentor employees during onboarding and ongoing execution to follow training guidelines.
• Coordinate and track time-off to ensure coverage on every work center per shift.
• Work in a cleanroom environment occasionally to support processes and troubleshooting.
