Job summary

ASML US, LLC in Wilton, Connecticut, is seeking a First Line Support Production Engineer to keep advanced semiconductor manufacturing systems running safely and efficiently. You will troubleshoot mechanical assemblies, support process improvements, and collaborate with engineering and operations teams on root-cause analyses.

On the production floor, you will investigate issues, develop guides, and help optimize throughput and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field, with internship/co-op in production/manufacturing.
• Experience troubleshooting complex mechanical systems in a manufacturing/technical setting.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, assemblies, and specs.
• Knowledge of precision assemblies, motion systems, and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with GD&T and tolerance analysis is a plus.
• Experience with mechanical tooling and test equipment.
• Exposure to FMEA or statistical process control is a plus.
• Familiarity with engineering systems like Siemens NX, Teamcenter, SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical assembly, tooling, testing, and qualification issues.
• Investigate production disruptions and implement corrective actions.
• Develop troubleshooting guides, action plans, and root cause analyses.
• Evaluate nonconforming parts and recommend solutions.
• Support creation and improvement of procedures and work instructions.
• Review designs to improve manufacturability.
• Drive improvements in product quality, throughput, and efficiency.
